InstagrAmazing Wedding Weekend

I'm so stinkin' excited for this link up this week.
I had a fantastic weekend!

The night before Zach left for the week.

Grandma's birthday present! Her birthday was Saturday.

Geronimo likes lounging in grandma's laundry baskets.

Seester and I waiting for a table at Tumbleweed.

Dinner at Tumbleweed!

My sister says I have "golf club warmers" in my car...

My after shower brushed hair look. (Zach asked for a picture of me and this is what he got.)

Momma and I at the bridal expo Sunday!

Sister and I at the bridal expo!

Danielle and I at the bridal expo!!

We went to a bridal shop after the expo and I tried on a few gowns.

Lots of colorful bridesmaid dresses!

Sunday pretty much turned into a wedding day with the expo and dress shopping.
We got the cutest girl's Easter dress at work that I put in Layaway for my flower girl.
At the bridal shop, I tried on gowns, Danielle tried on a dress, my mom tried on a dress, and I found a dress for my flower girl. And my grandma knows what dress she's going to buy for my wedding.
I think it's time to think about what the guys are going to wear...

How was your weekend?

Newlyweds

I know, it's another late post, but I had a pretty busy day today.
But you can read about that tomorrow. ;)
Anyways, I'm linking up for:
1. Who does the laundry in your home, you or your spouse? Any good stories?
Jess: We both do our own laundry at the moment, but I'll probably do it more when we live together.
Zach: Both. (He's a man of many words.)

2. If your spouse had to eat at one restaurant for the rest of their lives, what would he or she pick?
Jess: Subby's. We went there the other night and everyone behind the counter knew who he was.
Zach: Bob Evans. (I'm surprised he didn't say Red Robin...)

3. Are you or your spouse better at cooking? Any good stories?
Jess: I'm probably more likely to try a new recipe, but I think we're about the same cooking level.
Zach: I don't know...I think I'm worse at cooking.

4. Which one of you is more concerned about their "fashion"?
Jess: Probably me.
Zach: Jess

5. Ideally, if you don't have them already, when does you spouse want to have children?
Jess: In FIVE years.
Zach: Five years.

6. Who planned dates when you were dating? And what was one of your favorites?
Jess: Our dates are pretty much last minute, so we just decide on them together. I think my favorite would have to be when we just hang out and enjoy each other's company.
Zach: We pretty much both plan them, they are kind of spontaneous. My favorites are any I spend with Jess. (Dawww!!!)

7. What's been the toughest part of being a newlywed?
Jess: Seeing as how we're not married yet, I have no idea.
Zach: Having all of our stuff in one place. I'm a pack rat and she has a lot as well. And our sleep pattern. I'm a night owl and she can't stay awake past 11:30-midnightish.

8. Who is the best with the finances?
Jess: Me.
Zach: Jess. No doubt.

9. Who is the strict one?
Jess: I don't think either of us is strict.
Zach: I think we're pretty laid back.

10. What will you plan to do for your first anniversary? Or if you've already celebrated your first anniversary, what did you do?
Jess: I have no idea. I don't even know what we're doing for our honeymoon.
Zach: I have no idea. But it will be spectacular.

BONUS QUESTION: Assuming you were expecting something a little special for Valentine's Day (as in yall planned on doing something, giving something, etc), how did your spouse do? Share it! Again, PG people, please.
Jess: A bear with a fabric rose and chocolate? He did wonderful.
Zach: I got a pair of sunglasses to replace my broken ones. I think that's pretty special. (He's funny, right?)

Come back tomorrow for my InstagrAmazing weekend!

Friday's Letters

Photobucket
I know this is late, but oh well.

And I haven't received this guy's answers to this link-up yet, so that post will be up this weekend.

Dear Zach, I love you and I hope you have fun with Danny and Tracy and a safe trip. I'm going to miss you like crazy! Dear Ice, I didn't want to drive in you this morning, but I didn't really have a choice. I'm just glad I made to work safely. Dear Work, I have so much on my to-do list there. I kind of wish I could have worked later to complete more on my to-do list. Dear Weekend, While I'm glad you're here, I would like to be working on my work to-do list. Dear Money, Can I have more of you? I am planning a wedding... Dear Eric and Annie Camden, Why can't more parents be like you? Your children were brought up so well! Dear Coworkers, While you're a great group of people and I love working with you, your attitudes this week have almost pushed me over the edge. You all need to take a chill pill. Dear Danielle, We need to get coffee ASAP!! Dear Bloggy Friends, I'm so glad you all are here and reading what I have to say! I appreciate you all so much and love reading all your comments!

Happy Friday!

InstagrAmazing

So, I've kind of ignored blogland this week.
But work has been really busy and I'm just pooped when I get home.
And I missed a good link-up this past weekend!

Oh well.
Life goes on.
And today is another great link-up!

Because We're Random

Zach and I are random. You may already know this.
I mean, just look at some of these answers of the newlywed posts.

But I love him.
And our randomness.
And the random photo shoots we do.

Like these:

Aren't we cute?

I love us.
I mean, who wouldn't want to marry someone they can laugh and mess around with, and then have cute couple-y photos with?!

I'm so glad he's mine.
And that we get to spend the rest of our lives together.

Giant Alien Squids from Neptune

I love this link up. :)

1.  How long were you dating your spouse before getting engaged?
My answer: One month shy of 4 & ½ years.
Zach's answer: Almost 4 years and 5 months.

2.  Do you remember your first big fight, if so, what was it about?
My answer: We haven’t really had a big fight yet. The biggest tiff we’ve had was about something one of my friends said. It’s a little too personal for blogland. Sorry, ladies!
Zach's answer: I don't think we have actually had a big fight.

3.  Who said "I love you" first?
My answer: Zach.
Zach's answer: That would be me.

4.  What is your spouse most afraid of?
My answer: Losing me and then having to go through dating again.
Zach's answer: Giant alien squids from Neptune...........I'm joking umm I would have to say being alone.

5.  Who uses more hair-care products?
My answer: Me, definitely.
Zach's answer: Jess no doubt.

6.  Who initiated the first kiss?  How was it on a scale from 1-10?
My answer: Zach did. I would say it was a 9 out of 10.
Zach's answer: I think it was a mutual thing (probably me though) and because we are both awesome people it was a 10.

7.  You are on your way out, and need to turn around because someone forgot something... was it you or your spouse who most likely forgot something?
My answer: Probably me. I’ve left my phone at his house a few times.
Zach's answer: I can almost 100 percent say it was me.

8.  Who takes longer in front of the mirror?  You or your spouse?
My answer: Me. Always. Girl’s gotta look good!
Zach's answer: Jess once again.

9.  What would your spouse name your children if you had one girl & one boy?
My answer: For a boy it would be Malachy, for a girl it would be Sybella.
Zach's answer: Ummmm that is a good question............

10.  If you were able to give away one thing that your spouse owned, what would you choose?
My answer: Probably the random toys around his room.
Zach's answer: Her country music.

Were you the first to say I love you? Did you initiate the first kiss?

Ask Again Later

So I finally finished the book I started last year.

The back cover reads as follows:
"Emily has a tendency to live with one foot out the door. When your mother dramatically announces, "They've found a lump," Emily gladly leaves behind her career, her boyfriend, and those pesky unanswerable questions about who she is and what she's doing with her life to be by her mother's side. But back in her childhood bedroom, Emily realizes that she hasn't run fast or far enough--especially when she opens the door, quite literally, to find her past staring her in the face."

This is a really good synopsis of the book. I don't know what else I can tell you without giving away the story.

This book was interesting.
When I started reading this book, I'm not sure what I expected.

I usually read books similar to this one, somewhere in the genre of "chick lit", or fiction.
But I didn't like this book.
I had the hardest time really getting into it, and I don't think I ever really did.

Unfortunately, I couldn't start a new book like I wanted to.
If I start a book, I have to finish it.

But anyways, I'm getting away from my review.
But I don't really know what to say. If I liked the book, I would probably have more to say.

Oh well.
There's always the next book.
Speaking of....

I am now currently reading:

I've only read the first chapter, but I'm kind of almost already hooked on it.

What have you been reading?
